Content Creator (Photo & Video)

We’ve grown our Instagram account to 15k+ followers from zero by hustling every day, without focusing on likes or followers. We’ve created thousands of content pieces, and now we want to take things to the next level.

We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Content Creator to help tell the Madeira Friends story every day — through video, photo, and social media content that connects our team, the community movement, events, day-to-day operations, and long-term big vision.

Working for Madeira Friends Enterprise, under our Productions business unit, you’ll create daily content for our social media channels, and campaigns — creating, filming, editing, and publishing across platforms. This is an ideal role for someone with good video editing skills who wants to grow fast, learn new tools, and help shape a fast-growing project from the inside.

Profits from Madeira Friends Enterprise are reinvested to support the Madeira Friends Association and its mission to connect internationals and locals in building Madeira’s future.

What you’ll do:

• Capture and create daily photo and video content around our community, events, partners, and whatever is needed

• Take ownership of content creation, working with our leadership and production team

• Edit videos and visuals for social media, website, and campaigns

• Brainstorm and experiment with creative content ideas that tell authentic, cool stories

• Manage posting schedules and help grow our digital presence

• Work closely with the marketing and events team to align content with strategy

What we’re looking for:

• 1–2 years of experience in content creation, media, or social storytelling (or a strong portfolio)

• Good video editing skills

• Comfortable shooting with both camera and phone

• A curious, creative mind that enjoys experimenting and learning

• Strong sense of art, visual storytelling, and social media trends

• Fluency in English (Portuguese a plus)
